  9. JoyMouse is a tiny hack which allows a CD³² pad in the 2nd joystick port to
  10. act as a mouse. I  created this  because I  often play 2 player games which
  11. means  that I have to take  my mouse out of port 1, then  I have to  put it
  12. back in simply to move  around the  Workbench screen. This  is  obviously a
  13. pain so  I decided  that if a  joypad could act as a mouse then my problems
  14. would be solved!
  15. I did some  research and found an old  program called 'FakeMouse',  I  have
  16. based  JoyMouse on  parts of FakeMouse  but hopefully  it is better because
  17. it has these new features :-
  18.  
  19. o Accelerates the pointer when using a CD³² pad
  20. o Pointer can be controlled with the mouse and pad simultaneously!
  21. o Very small and fast code
  22. o Easy installation (Simply drag into WBstartup dir!)
  23. o Coded in 100% BlitzBasic
  24. o Designed to run in the background all the time
  25. o 030/040/060 Enhanced (as far as a utility like this can be!)
  26. o This doc is bigger than the program!

  29. Ok, drag the JoyMouse icon into the  SYS:WBstartup  drawer and then reboot,
  30. from then on you  will be able to control  your mouse pointer with a joypad
  31. plugged into the game port and  your ordinary mouse  too, you can even have
  32. fun trying to move the pointer with both simultaneously :)
